Position: School Psychologist |

Empower learning and support students well-being as a contract school psychologist serving elementary, middle, and high school populations near Florence, AZ. This important opportunity spans several dynamic campuses with active special education programs, offering the chance to make a real difference for both general and special education students.

Your focus will include key responsibilities such as conducting student evaluations, collaborating with staff and families, and providing comprehensive support for school wide programs. With projected enrollments at Florence Elementary (564 students, 90 in special education), San Tan Mountain Middle School (580 students, 105 in special education), and San Tan Foothills High School (824 students, 176 in special education), your expertise will be highly valued in both individual assessments and broader school initiatives.

There is also a unique need for bilingual supportprofessionals fluent in another language are encouraged to apply, whether seeking full-time, part-time, or as needed opportunities.

Key Requirements
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Familiarity with the re-evaluation process (multiple re-evaluations across campuses)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to provide culturally responsive and inclusive support
  • Bilingual abilities highly desired; flexible arrangements considered for bilingual candidates
Essential Duties
  • Conduct and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
  • Support Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams with re-evaluations and recommendations
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to students in special education
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate
  • Provide consultation for staff and families on behavioral and academic interventions
