Your Main Tasks:

• Oversee inmate work crews in the production/service of meals
• Preparation/inventory documents before each meal
• Oversee additional records such as service plan, tray assessments, restricted diets, daily sanitation, and meal delivery
• Carry out the orientation and training program for inmate workers
• Ensure safety compliance and monitor equipment maintenance

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Arizona State driver’s license
• Ability to understand the facility’s recipes, policies, and procedures
• Ability to communicate minimum production/service requirements of the job to all personnel
• One‑year prior experience in managing or producing food in commercial, military, or institutional setting (helpful)
• Prior correctional food service training helpful but not mandatory
• Ability to work with computers and necessary software used by the department

• Frequently: Lift or carry and push/pull up to 60 lbs.; sit
• Occasionally: Lift, carry, push/pull up to 60 lbs. (sometimes more); bend, stoop, reach above shoulder, climb, walk, and stand
