House Manager

Tiger Private is partnering with an exceptional private Tuscan estate in the search for an experienced Live-in House Manager / Majordomo. The property is a historic, beautifully restored residence set within extensive grounds, including vineyards and olive groves, and operates to the highest standards of luxury private service. The estate is located 45-minutes outside Florence.
The House Manager will oversee the seamless running of the household and its surrounding buildings, lead a dedicated team of staff and offer a world-class experience for the principals and their guests. This position requires a confident leader who can motivate and develop their team, maintain a harmonious working environment, and oversee all day-to-day household operations with precision.

Responsibilities include full staff management, operational planning, budgeting and financial oversight, maintenance scheduling, service standards, guest experience coordination, and liaison with contractors and external suppliers. The House Manager will also manage guest itineraries, arrivals and departures, dining and events, and ensure that the estate is presented impeccably at all times. The role extends to involvement in ongoing estate projects, including agricultural operations, new facilities, and the development of service procedures and systems.
The successful candidate will be exceptionally organised, proactive, discreet and service-driven, with strong leadership skills and high personal standards. Fluency in Italian and English is essential, along with prior experience as a House Manager or Majordomo within a UHNW private household or estate. Strong project and budget management ability, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach are key.

A valid driving licence and EU right to work are essential.
