We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to support daily operations, financial reporting, tax compliance and treasury activities. Experience with Commercial Activity Tax and Sales Tax is strongly preferred. Treasury Management/Banking experience (Wires, ACH, EFT) is required.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Process and manage banking transactions (domestic and international).
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Review Financial Statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
- Maintain internal controls over cash disbursements and receipts.
- Prepare and file Commercial Activity Tax returns.
- Working knowledge of multi-state sales and use taxes.
- Support external audits and provide required documentation.
- Spearhead the utilization/implementation of AI to enhance productivity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of Accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience processing wires, ACH and EFT transactions
- Experience with bank reconciliations and cash management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Sage CRE 300 software
