Overview

To become a school secretary for BCS: a high school diploma or equivalent, must pass state‑approved competency tests, and undergo a criminal background check. Key skills include computer proficiency (especially with Microsoft Office), strong communication and organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle confidential information and public relations. Some positions may require additional experience, with some administrative secretary roles needing six years of experience or equivalent college credits.
