Position Purpose

Provide general administrative support for the NKADD’s Workforce Division.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Work closely with Associate Director and Contracts Manager to determine weekly priorities.
  • In collaboration with the Contracts Manager, produce reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to share with the NKY Workforce Investment Board (NKWIB) and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop a working knowledge of KEE-Suite and KIBES databases to access KPI data.
  • Complete quarterly Data Validation activities and prepare Data Validation reports for timely submission to the KY Education and Labor Cabinet.
  • Provide support for all of the NKWIB Committees, including agenda development, communication with committee members and all relevant partners regarding meeting scheduling and other meeting logistics, and capturing meeting minutes/meeting summaries.
  • Assist Program Budget Manager by helping facilitate the invoicing process to ensure timely expense reimbursement for our workforce partners/employer partners.
  • Assist with marketing-communication activities for the Workforce Division by attending events, taking photographs at events, and connecting with the NKADD’s marketing-communication staff to ensure Workforce-related news and events are publicized.
  • Assist NKY Works Workforce Integrator with the planning, promoting and execution of the NKY Works/NKWIB annual awards event.
  • Assist Associate Director with scheduling meetings/events (calendar management) as needed.
  • Assist Contracts Manager with annual EEO compliance monitoring process.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and projects, as assigned.
Desired

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required;
Associate’s Degree in Business or Communications-related field is preferred; any combination of training and experience which meets the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.

Work Requirements

Work is performed typically indoors in office setting. It requires intermittent standing, sitting, or stooping. Work requires consistent use of computer and other office equipment as well as mental capabilities. Some regional travel and working during non-traditional hours may be required at times.
