Responsibilities
- Accurately manage inbound and outbound truck weighing transactions using scale systems and software
- Verify shipping, receiving, and billing documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Coordinate with drivers, operations, dispatch, and customers to maintain efficient material flow
- Support office operations including answering phones, filing, greeting visitors, and providing administrative assistance as needed
- Maintain records, reports, and logs to support operational, inventory, and regulatory requirements
- Provide coverage at nearby facilities as needed and travel short distances within the region to support operational requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication and customer service skills, including phone and front-office interactions
- Proficiency with computer systems, data entry tools, and Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
- Experience in administrative support, scale house operations, dispatch, customer service, or related office environments
- Commitment to safety, compliance, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service
- This role operates primarily in a scale house environment with frequent interaction with truck drivers and plant personnel. The position may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, exposure to outdoor conditions, and a fast‑paced operational setting.
- Competitive base salary $42,620 - $50,080
