Job Summary
Under direct supervision, the Business Solutions Document Support Clerical I is responsible for inputting a high volume of data efficiently to manage large amounts of information that is often sensitive or confidential. In addition, the role handles large volumes of mail and cash to be scanned, balanced, and deposited.
Responsibilities- File, manage and shred items in accordance with company document retention policy.
- Perform moderately complex data entry duties and apply basic accounting principles.
- Complete tactile tasks and assigned work duties that help drive the success of the organization.
- Communicate effectively, collaborate with internal and external contacts, meet deadlines, and maintain autonomy while working on projects.
- Balance cash reports for daily accounting.
- Maintain the Rescan Workbasket.
- Maintain a 90‑day rotation of scanned information in the file room.
- Work and maintain spreadsheets as needed.
- Process new group member applications, cancellations, basic membership changes, and member payments; review non‑processable applications.
- Scan, index, and file sensitive and confidential information; retrieve information from Site Admin.
- Take incoming calls and emails, and open and route mail to the proper destination for processing.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Data Management: balance cash reports, maintain the Rescan Workbasket, keep a 90‑day rotation of scanned information, and manage spreadsheets.
Processing: handle new member applications, cancellations, member payments, and review non‑processable applications.
Administrative and Communication: scan, index, file sensitive information; retrieve information from Site Admin; handle inbound/outbound communications and mail routing.
Qualifications- High school degree equivalent; some college preferred.
- 0–1+ years of prior experience in customer service.
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with a detailed‑oriented, analytical approach.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive professional attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Critical thinking, problem‑solving, proactive, and passion for service.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change.
FLSA Status:
Non‑exempt.
Physical requirements:
performed in a professional office environment using standard office equipment; may involve manual handling, sitting/standing, and use of hands and arms; occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
