Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the (Student Only) part-time position of Testing Center Assistant. This department provides area businesses and industries, the community and local school districts, college students, and individuals with a broad range of testing services. This position will assist the Testing Center Staff with daily responsibilities while providing great customer service.

• Helping customers and staff with the check‑in process.
• Greeting candidates.
• Checking in candidates.
• General office duties: data entry, copying, scanning, filing, stocking office supplies, maintaining testing rooms and supplies, running errands, and similar duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work hours:
  
  Up to 20 / week.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Suite experience.
• Dependable - able to maintain a work schedule.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized.
• Able to work with individuals and groups.
• Follows instructions, policies and procedures.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.

The Federal Work‑Study Program provides funding for part‑time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS.

KY law requires state and national pre‑employment background checks as a condition of employment.
