Central Supply Clerk
Gables Care Center is seeking a dedicated Central Supply Clerk to join our team! As a Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk, you will have the opportunity to impact the daily lives of our residents and staff. About the RoleThe Central Supply Clerk is responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our stock rooms, managing facility supply storage areas, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of medical records. This is a part-time position, with varying shifts and hours. As a Central Supply Clerk at Gables Care Center, you will have the chance to make a difference in the lives of others every day.
Responsibilities- Stock nursing stations with the appropriate nursing supplies, while maintaining organization and cleanliness of stock rooms
- Take inventory inside the stock room, both nurses stations, and office, and place orders for supplies as needed and unpack said orders
- Manage facility supply storage areas
- Maintain information within the EMR system
- Ensure charts are complete and filed properly
- Scan lab reports, consultations, office notes, messages, etc. into appropriate charts on an ongoing basis
- Print chart information as needed for licensed practitioners to review or for reviews or legal needs
- Follow all HIPPA rules for giving and receiving patient information
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Nursing home experience or medical supplies experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Solid organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
- Friendly and a team player
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs.
