NOW HIRING: TRANSMISSION TECHNICIAN
Zimmer Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for an experienced and motivated Transmission Technician to join our growing Service Department.

What You'll Do- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace automotive transmissions and driveline components
- Perform accurate mechanical and electronic diagnostics
- Identify transmission-related concerns and determine appropriate repairs
- Perform transmission removals and installations
- Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and service information
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other technicians
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
- Previous experience as a Transmission Technician or Automotive Technician with strong transmission experience
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Ability to accurately diagnose complex transmission concerns
- Experience with electronic diagnostic equipment
- Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram experience is a plus
- OEM certifications or ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
