Role Overview

Our client is building the leading digital platform for bunker and lubricant purchasing and management in the maritime industry. As they transition from an outsourced development model to a strong in-house product and engineering team, we are looking for a Product Execution Lead to take full ownership of our client’s product delivery.

This is a hands-on execution role
, not a purely strategic product position. The Product Execution Lead converts real client pain points into clear specifications, flows, priorities,
and shippable software
, while removing the CEO as the daily product bottleneck. You will sit at the center of product, engineering, design, and client feedback
, ensuring that what they build is useful, usable, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Product Delivery & Execution

• Own end-to-end execution of product features across all Nereus products
• Translate client needs and operational pain points into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Define and maintain execution priorities, roadmaps, and delivery timelines
• Ensure features move smoothly from concept → specification → development → release

Specifications & UX Ownership

• Own product specifications
  , functional definitions, and user flows
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure workflows are clear, efficient, and operationally correct
• Review and validate implementations to ensure they meet real user needs, not just technical completion

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Act as the main interface between engineering, design, operations, and leadership
• Align closely with the Tech Lead to ensure feasibility, sequencing, and delivery quality
• Shield engineers from unclear requirements and last-minute changes by providing structured, stable input

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years in Product Management, Product Operations, or Product Delivery roles
• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams on complex software products
• Strong ability to turn messy, real-world problems into clear, executable requirements
• Experience owning execution
  , not just strategy
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience in B2B SaaS
  , logistics, maritime, trading, or operational platforms
• Background working with outsourced teams transitioning to in-house
• Familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, workflows, integrations), without needing to code
