Roles and Responsibilities- In charge of the procurement of the maintenance spares parts (U#) and services by vendors (OV#) to support maintenance activity of the Carbon utilities and equipments.
- Place necessary Purchase Requisition s, ensuring all data is accurate and all required approval signatures are obtained.
- Communicate with Purchasing (SUSA) to ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders.
- Expedite delivery of orders, follow-up on back orders, and make special arrangements for deliveries as required to effectively support company schedules.
- Work with Maintenance Planners in determining material needs based on PMs/Maintenance activities.
- Track order acknowledgements for Repairs, Blanket POs and contracts.
- Request quotes, research new products and recommend new or alternative products as needed.
- Support Annual maintenance coordination by placing all required Purchase Req and ensuring the timing is appropriate and cost is within annual budget.
- Quickly and effectively research and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
- Approve invoices for payment.
- Evaluate equipment repair vs. replacement; evaluate and select repair sources and authorize and arrange repair, process RMA.
- Ensure all parts ordered are properly set up in SAP – coordinate with Data Manager or Warehouse Leader as needed.
- Actively identify and participate in departmental and cross-functional Continuous Improvement and Safety Initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment.
- Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards.
- Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment.
- Must demonstrate the physical capacity to meet the demands of the "Light" Job Placement Assessment (JPA) as administered by St. Elizabeth Business Health Services.

- High school diploma/GED required
- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Previous experience within the Carbon facility preferred
