VMI Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're growing rapidly and looking for a driven VMI Specialist who wants to own the customer experience from the inside out. TCH Industries is a specialty hose and industrial distribution company in Northeast Ohio, built around one core belief:

• Conduct scheduled inventory counts at assigned customer sites throughout Northeast Ohio.
• Monitor stock levels against agreed min/max thresholds and trigger replenishment before issues arise.
• Reconcile system vs. physical inventory and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Build trusted, professional relationships with customer contacts—you are their go-to person.
• Coordinate with our Operations and Sales teams to ensure customers get what they need, when they need it.
• Track KPIs, document visits, and report activity in our ERP (TrulinX).
• Proactively identify upsell and service improvement opportunities for TCH and our customers.

• 2+ years in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or field service.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.
• Clear communicator—written, verbal, and relational.
• Self‑starter who thrives working independently.

• VMI, supply chain, or manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with industrial distribution or hose products.
• Experience with ERP/inventory management systems.
• Track record of owning outcomes, not just tasks.
