Land Surveyor

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Layout of curbs, structures, drainage, basins, utilities and edge of pavements, including grade calculations
• Assist with gathering as-built (record survey) data when required
• Resolve technical problems and assist with training field employees on GPS equipment
• Establish GPS Control / calibrations for field operations
• Setup and maintain GPS equipment for field operations
• Work closely with Riegler field and office personnel

• 3 years + experience jobsite layout staking
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications
• Knowledge of GPS and robotic surveying technologies, methods, and software
• Proficiency with Trimble (preferred) construction layout software and equipment
• Ability to work 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours a day
