Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation & SchedulePay Rate: $56/hr (Local - No Per Diem)
Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours
Per Diem: None
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
10 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotation

This role offers the opportunity to oversee safety across multiple trades on a fast-paced commercial construction project while partnering with project leadership, subcontractors, and craft personnel to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys working in a highly collaborative, field-focused role on a large-scale distribution and logistics project.
Required Qualifications- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- 3+ years of construction safety experience
- Experience supporting General Contractor operations
- Distribution center or logistics facility construction experience
- Experience supporting multiple subcontractors and trades
- Commercial construction experience
- CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential
- Amazon project experience
- Oversee daily safety activities for general contractor operations
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements
- Coordinate safety efforts among multiple trades and subcontractors
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety coaching
- Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Partner with project management and field supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
- Promote a positive safety culture across the project
