1B: 5:00am - 5:30pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) builds rapport and trust with clients by delivering consistent, exceptional service. Responsibilities include accurate data entry of shipping and receiving information, order processing, and maintaining service quality. Associates must meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality, and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Customer Service
  • Process and input all customer orders.
  • Run and print shipments from WMS.
  • Run stock reports to check product availability.
  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information for customer work orders.
  • Check all orders for special requests.
  • Expedite orders as necessary, trace orders, and notify customers of any activity concerning their merchandise.
  • Follow up with other departments to ensure service standards meet expectations.
  • Verify proper invoicing of accounts.
  • Handle returned merchandise efficiently and ensure proper credit to the customer.
Customer Interfacing Activities
  • Maintain a good working relationship with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoicing, shipments, and inventory management.
  • Serve as a liaison between the warehouse and customers for administration of accounts and between the office and customers regarding invoicing and credit changes.
Documentation
  • Ensure accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents.
  • Gather and maintain all data and records related to shipping and receiving activities.
  • Match receiving counts to packing lists and purchase orders, and ensure shipping counts match picking documents.
  • Prepare reports concerning customer service as required by supervisors.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies.
Data Entry
  • Operate computer terminals proficiently.
  • Enter and verify data regarding customer orders, shipments, receipts, inventories, and adjustments accurately and timely.
Clerical
  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain corresponding files.
  • Answer phone calls and operate various office machines necessary for duties.
  • Greet customers and visitors to the office.
  • Effectively correspond with customers as required.
Communication
  • Answer incoming telephone calls cheerfully, courteously, and timely.
  • Promptly route calls to the proper party and take messages when necessary.
  • Assist callers with general information and inquiries.
  • Direct visitors to appropriate department.
  • Assist drivers at check‑in window various times throughout the day.
Additional Duties (Site Specific)
  • May cross‑train in other administrative functions to support the site.
  • Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer‑service related capacity.
  • Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

Computer Skills
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of WMS functions.
Language Skills
  • English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Business writing proficiency.
Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform related duties.
Other
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi‑task.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability to change and fast‑paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of warehouse/logistics support experience.
  • 2–3 years of customer‑service related experience.

  • Occasionally handle, flourish; sit; bend; walk; stand; lift 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
