* Job Description:

***** Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Physician Compensation and Contracting Analyst to join their team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN.
*** The Physician Compensation & Contracting Analyst provides contracting support services for Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) to include physician compensation design, benchmarking, financial analysis and recommendations.
The Physician Compensation & Contracting Analyst serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders and collaborates with team members on ongoing evaluation and improvement of compensation models.
** Essential Duties:
*** Perform detailed financial modeling of physician compensation, including base, incentive, and productivity-based components (e.g., wRVU, quality, or call pay).
* Analyze and recommend enhancements to existing compensation structures to ensure competitiveness, sustainability, and alignment with organizational goals.
* Prepare compensation audits, investigate anomalies, and provide variance explanations to leadership.
* Utilize annual market benchmarking and external survey submissions to inform compensation decisions.
* Ensure provider employment agreements and compensation terms are accurate, timely, and compliant with approved structures.
* Support development, review, and maintenance of standardized contract templates and compensation models across specialties.
* Administer and maintain a comprehensive database of provider contracts, amendments, and compensation components.
* Compile supporting documentation for internal and external fair market value (FMV) reviews and collaborate with Legal and Compliance departments as needed.
* Document contracting and compensation actions for compliance and audit purposes, maintaining organized and accessible records.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and related experience
* 3+ years related experience in healthcare administration, physician contracting or related field
* 1+ year of experience in physician compensation analysis
* Financial experience in an integrated healthcare environment including medical group operations preferred
* Project management experience preferred
* Experience with benchmarking data (MGMA, AMGA, Sullivan Cotter)
* Knowledge of legal forms and requirements for employed physician contracts and addendums preferred
* Knowledge of contract law and healthcare regulations (FMV)
* Strong analytical and research skills
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel)
