General Dentist

Heartland Dental is seeking a General Dentist to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a supported practice. In this role, you will perform exams, restorative and preventive treatments, basic oral surgery, and treatment planning while maintaining the highest clinical and safety standards. You'll work closely with a skilled clinical and administrative team supported by Heartland Dental's marketing, HR, IT, and operations services, allowing you to focus on dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry care including exams, fillings, crowns, simple extractions, and preventive treatments
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term oral health and patient education
• Ensure high clinical standards, accurate charting, and compliance with all dental regulations and protocols
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and office staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered care
• Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions
• Maintain aseptic techniques, infection control, and safe use of dental equipment and radiography
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with clinical best practices
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with Heartland Dental's values
• Support practice growth through quality care, patient retention, and positive patient experiences
• Utilize practice management systems and digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning
