A hospital in Ohio is looking for a locum tenens gastroenterologist physician for an ongoing job. This role involves 24-hour inpatient shifts, with 10-20 shifts per month. Responsibilities include inpatient rounding, ER consults, inpatient procedures, and possibly scheduled high-risk patients. Required procedures are colonoscopy, EGD, and ERCP (preferred). The average patient load is 8-12 patients per day, supported by a team of CRNAs, MDAs, RNs, and techs.
