Provide instruction for students outside of the school day to support the individual needs of those they serve as identified by a medical or individualized learning plan.

The below lists are not ranked in order of importance.

• Ohio (Math, ELA, Science, Special Education, or Social Studies) teaching certificate or license, as issued by the Ohio State Department of Education preferred.
• Possess qualities of high work ethic, dedication, and accountability, and have demonstrated the ability to organize and manage.
• Maintains regular attendance.

• The tutor is required to plan lessons, and obtain additional work materials from the teachers to support student achievement.
• The tutor is responsible for working with the assigned building teacher to determine a grade.
• The tutor is required to schedule sessions with the parents regarding the time and place.
• The tutor is required to work outside of the classroom setting (it is recommended that sessions take place in a library, etc).
• The tutor is required to keep attendance at tutoring sessions.
• The tutor is required to submit timesheet to document hours worked in an efficient and timely manner as required by the payroll department.
