North Oldham Middle School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Behavior Interventionist to join our team.
This individual will serve as our 504 Coordinator and provide targeted support and data collection for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavioral interventions. The ideal candidate will be a certified teacher who brings strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of student behavior, and a passion for helping every child succeed.
Candidates with a background in school counseling or administration are especially encouraged to apply, as this role provides meaningful opportunities to support students’ social‑emotional growth and collaborate closely with our counseling and administrative teams.
In addition to working directly with students, this position plays a key part in supporting teachers through classroom management coaching, behavior strategy development, and collaboration on proactive intervention plans. The Behavior Interventionist will work closely with our administrators and school counselors to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in the specific field of education for which a job is sought.

Certification:
Valid state teaching license or eligibility for licensure.

Experience:
Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
5:
Attributes: A positive attitude, a growth mindset, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state and district standards.

Administer various formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.

Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, school staff, and administrators to support the school’s mission and goals.

Compensation will be determined by the Superintendent based on 187 contract days and appropriate board‑approved teacher salary schedule.
