The Garfield School District is seeking to hire a tenure-track Spanish World Language Teacher. Garfield Middle School covers Grades 6-8. Please include a resume as part of Applitrack application.
Requirements- Must have NJ HS Spanish teacher certification.
- Must complete criminal history process.
- Build students' bilingual skills and enhance their understanding of the Spanish language.
- Teach students how to build and enhance their foreign language skills—reading, writing, speaking and listening.
- Cultivate students' cultural awareness by helping them learn a new language.
- Build students' skill and comfort with engaging in conversation in Spanish.
- Work with the World Language Department to develop academic and engagement goals for students.
