Instructional Designer - Learning & Development
PRIMARY
PURPOSE:
To design training courses and materials in compliance with the learning process, using eLearning tools; assist with organizing and conducting training via webinar tools and test learning deliverables to ensure performance improvement in line with business goals.
- Design courseware including script writing, storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, and course certification in compliance with company learning process.
- Create and maintain pre‑, post‑, and behavioral change assessments within each course; use data to provide statistical proof that course objectives are achieved.
- Research technology and media options for effective adult blended learning.
- Create and maintain training material, ensuring adult learning principles are applied.
- Partner with subject‑matter experts to design content when appropriate.
- Produce engaging visual content to keep concepts fresh and relevant for colleagues.
- Participate in design reviews, revisions, and quality assurance checks.
- Maintain version control and documentation for assigned learning assets.
- Manage development timelines and milestones to ensure all requirements are met.
- Stay informed about instructional design trends, emerging tools, and best practices, including AI platforms such as Co‑Pilot and Articulate AI.
- Perform other duties as assigned and support the organization globally.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum six (6) years of training experience (including e‑learning) and course design, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of instructional‑design related tools.
- Claims management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of all aspects of adult learning, performance needs analysis, training material design, instruction/facilitation, training evaluation, and coaching training application.
- Good knowledge of human performance technology and consulting.
- Proficiency in authoring tools, including Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of e‑learning theories and technologies.
- Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
- Advanced implementation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive priorities and meet internal customer needs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.
Compensation & BenefitsCompensation range starts at $55,723.00 – $70,000.00 USD annually.
