About the Role
The Department of Communication is seeking adjunct faculty members to develop and teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in public relations and professional communication programs. Candidates should have professional public relations and/or integrated marketing communication experience and hold a Master’s degree (M.A., M.F.A., or M.B.A.). Prior teaching experience is a plus.

- Teach courses such as Integrated Communication, Social Media Management, Public Relations Management, Strategic Multi‑Platform Writing, and others as department needs dictate.
- Instruction may be delivered during day, evening, weekends, or online sessions.
- M.A., M.F.A., or M.B.A. required.
- Professional experience in public relations or integrated marketing communication.
- Passion for public relations, understanding of the integrated marketing communication mix, and dedication to helping students succeed.
- Commitment to teaching diverse populations.
Adjuncts per credit rate: $2,100 per credit for new employees; $2,175 per credit for employees who have completed at least 13 semesters at WP.
