Salary

Schedule:

$18.27/hr - $20.07/hr (Grade 4, 1A) plus Critical Need Stipend $3.50/hr and ECE Instructional Assistant Stipend $1.00/hr.
Working Calendar: 187 Days / 7 Hours.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing each student’s Individual Education Plan.
• Help establish and maintain a pleasant, safe, and structured learning environment.
• Provide support to students with disabilities, including physical assistance such as positioning, toileting, and lifting.
• Participate in district ECE in-service training for professional growth.
• Assist with other duties as assigned within Exceptional Child Education programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D., or 48 college semester hours.
• Passing score on the Kentucky Para educator Exam (KPA) or equivalent.
• Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
• Physical ability to assist with students’ physical needs.
• Willingness to attend district ECE in-service training.
