Adjunct Faculty – Department of Accounting and Law
Position within Cotsakos College of Business. Courses are taught both online and in person.

- Develop syllabi and lesson plans using the course outline to deliver content, objectives, and assessment for up to six (6) credits per semester.
- Provide consistent, effective support and guidance through role‑modeling and mentoring.
- Teach courses in person and/or online, depending on schedules and departmental needs.
- MBA or Master’s in accounting or a related field plus CPA with at least five years of managerial experience teaching accounting courses; or J.D. plus L.L.M. for teaching Taxation and Business Law.
- Full‑time or part‑time employment or active professional practice.
- Ability to teach online.
- One or more years of teaching in higher education.
- Professional activity within the discipline such as leadership or managerial role in a business enterprise, non‑profit organization, government agency, or business professional organization.
- Experience teaching both online and in person.
- MBA or Master’s in accounting or a related field plus CPA with at least ten years of managerial experience teaching accounting courses; or J.D. plus L.L.M. for teaching Taxation and Business Law.
- Full‑time or part‑time employment or active professional practice.
- Ability to teach online.
- Professional certification and/or continuing professional education relevant to the business domain.
- Fifteen or more years of managerial experience.
- Published peer or non‑peer reviewed articles, conference papers, blogs, or books.
- Board membership in a business enterprise, non‑profit organization, or professional association.
- Experience teaching both online and in person.
- Ability to translate business experience into pedagogical approaches that enhance curriculum relevance.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Commitment to content, teaching excellence, assessment strategies, and positive outcomes.
- Patience and resourcefulness in managing student challenges.
- Capability to manage competing needs by developing robust working relationships in a diverse environment.
- Ability to set and work toward common goals in a collaborative environment.
New employees: $2100 per credit. Employees with 13+ semesters at WP: $2175 per credit.
