Clark State Emergency Medical Services department is looking for EMS professionals to help educate and train students interested in the career of EMS. Clark State is looking for candidates with a passion for the field of EMS, an eagerness to help others gain knowledge in the field of EMS, and someone who will promote a positive productive learning environment. Candidates are required to be familiar with updated EMS standards and practices as they become available.
Major responsibilities are in the area of teaching and learning. Adjunct faculty are expected to be progressive in instructionalstrategiesandintheirdisciplineandtobecollegialintheirrelationshipswithcolleagues,staff,and students. Each adjunct faculty member is directly responsible to a departmental/school administrator.
Part-time adjunct instructional faculty position requires an active State of Ohio Paramedic or EMT certification and five years of EMS experience. An EMS Instructor certification is preferred but not required for lab adjunct. Collegiate teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Minimum Requirements- Active State of Ohio Paramedic or EMT certification
- Minimum five years of EMS experience
- EMS Instructor certification preferred but not required
$660 per load hour or $33.71 per contact hour.
Compensation for Adjuncts in Clinical Courses$34.50 - $36.50 per contact hour based upon day, evening or weekend clinicals.
