Written Communication# Description We are looking for a dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students with disabilities at our career technical high school. This role involves co-teaching, creating and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and working closely with students, families, and staff to ensure academic and personal success. You will join a team committed to helping all students transition successfully to life after high school.

* Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
* Valid Ohio teaching license in Intervention Specialist or ability to obtain one
* Experience writing and managing IEPs
* Experience providing instruction to students with disabilities
* Knowledge of co-teaching practices and Ohio State Standards
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to pass BCI/FBI background check and meet state health requirements
* Experience working with diverse student populations preferred#
Job Responsibilities
* Write, implement, and manage IEPs
* Co-teach and provide specialized instruction
* Create personalized student interventions
* Collaborate with staff, families, and home schools
* Monitor progress and participate in meetings
* Advocate for students and promote inclusive education
* Support students' transitions to post-secondary life
* Stay current on best practices in special education
* Complete required district trainings
* Follow all Board policies and regulations
* Participate in school-wide success initiatives
