Job Summary
Parkland Kids Academy is seeking a dependable and caring Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The teacher will create a positive classroom environment, support children's development, and ensure the safety and supervision of all children in their care.
Responsibilities- Supervise and ensure the safety of all children in the classroom
- Plan and implement age appropriate learning activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Support children's social, emotional, and educational development
- Communicate professionally with parents about daily activities and progress
- Follow Kentucky childcare licensing regulations and center policies
- Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records
- Work collaboratively with staff and administration
- Maintain proper classroom supervision at all times
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with children preferred
- CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred but not required
- Must pass required background checks
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Patience and reliability
- Ability to manage a classroom of young children
- Strong organizational skills
