A Snapshot of Your Day

• Represent the Instrumentation and Control Commissioning Group on worldwide project assignments by commissioning the Siemens Energy scope on large scale projects such as world class and low emission Power Plants, Grid Stabilizing Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems and contribute to the energy transition.
• Commission individual components or entire systems ensuring quality and troubleshooting for Instrumentation and Control and Distributed Control System equipment supplied by Siemens Energy.
• Provide feedback on on‑site experience to engineering teams to support continuous product improvement.
• Collaborate with internal team members, mentor and coordinate external partners and sub‑contractors, and interact with customers on a daily basis.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Hands‑on commissioning of the Distributed Control System, Instrumentation and Control systems, and process systems for combined cycle power plants and power plant solutions on new construction sites up to handover to the customer.
• Carry out tests on protection and control systems, as well as control optimisation and solving using Siemens Energy DCS System OMNIVISE T3000 or similar.
• Collaborate with internal team members, mentor and coordinate external partners and sub‑contractors, and interact with customers on a daily basis.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Control Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or similar;
  Electrical & Electronic Engineering also considered. College courses related to the position are acceptable.
• Flexibility and willingness to participate in both domestic and international assignments (typical durations ~2 to 12 months). Prepared for 90% travel to project work sites.
• Business‑fluent English; additional language skills and intercultural skills desirable.
• Self‑sufficient, independent individual with a collaborative approach.
• Professional and intercultural experience acquired over several years of work is beneficial, though not imperative. If work experience is limited, please provide your college courses.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.
