Job Description

The Jr. Electrical Engineer supports manufacturing sustainment operations and new product introductions for advanced AI/ML and GPU-accelerated server rack platforms. This role focuses on optimizing production systems to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and scalability objectives in a high-complexity, fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of the core launch team for new manufacturing technologies, the Industrial Engineer drives data-driven process improvements through strong cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Test Engineering to support new product introductions.

* Develop and validate time standards, labor models, and capacity plans to support production ramp readiness.

* Define workstation requirements, material flow strategies, and tooling needs to enable efficient and scalable manufacturing.

* Support NPI builds by monitoring performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions.

* Conduct detailed time studies and work measurement analysis to improve productivity and standardize work.

* Monitor and improve operational metrics such as throughput, work-in-process (WIP), lead time, first pass yield (FPY), and labor efficiency.

* Lead layout improvements, line balancing efforts, and material handling optimization to enhance flow and reduce waste.

* Develop, implement, and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation.

* Analyze workforce utilization and facility layouts to maximize efficiency and resource usage.

* Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company policies in all engineering and process improvement activities.

Essential Skills

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with time studies, capacity planning, and manufacturing workflows.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.

* Industrial engineering experience with a focus on process improvement.

* Hands-on experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Lean manufacturing experience.

* Experience with MES/ERP systems, such as SAP.

* Experience with AutoCAD for layout and facility design.

* Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt) preferred.

* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

* Interest in advanced hardware systems, AI/ML, and GPU-accelerated platforms.

* Motivation to grow within an ever-evolving industry and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced, high-complexity manufacturing setting focused on advanced AI/ML and GPU-accelerated hardware systems. The position is fully on-site and typically operates Monday through the standard workweek. The environment emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, hands-on engagement with production lines, and active participation in continuous improvement activities. You will work with modern manufacturing tools, data-driven systems such as MES/ERP platforms, and engineering software including AutoCAD, within a culture that values safety, quality, innovation, and operational excellence.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
