Product Development Intern – Summer 2026
About this Position
At Henkel, you will work in the Adhesive Technologies business unit, collaborating on the development of adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. This internship offers the opportunity to apply state‑of‑the‑art technologies, work alongside senior technologists, and contribute to innovative product solutions.
Responsibilities- Work with state‑of‑the‑art technologies and raw materials to develop adhesives and sealants.
- Support the formulation and preparation of product batches in a lab environment.
- Apply standardized methodologies for testing product performance and quality.
- Analyze and interpret test results, identifying trends and potential improvements.
- Collaborate with senior technologists to discuss findings and contribute to product innovation.
- Participate in the development of innovative new products through hands‑on experimentation and research.
- Undergraduate student expected to graduate in 2027 or 2028, pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team.
- Proactive, supportive team player with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft
365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Initiative and attention to detail in planning and organizing lab work.
- Exciting projects that allow real impact and collaboration with Henkel colleagues worldwide.
