Position Summary

The Sustainability Leader serves as a coordinator and project leader for sustainability initiatives across the organization.

This role is responsible for collecting and analyzing environmental and sustainability data, coordinating reporting activities, supporting energy management systems, and ensuring successful completion of key sustainability projects.

The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, data‑driven, and capable of building strong relationships across operations, engineering, environmental, and corporate teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate sustainability initiatives across multiple departments and facilities
  • Support and maintain the company's ISO 50001 Energy Management System
  • Lead Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) development and completion activities
  • Collect, analyze, and report sustainability metrics and environmental performance data
  • Coordinate greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations and emissions reporting
  • Manage completion of industry surveys and sustainability reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with plant leadership, operations teams, environmental professionals, and corporate stakeholders
  • Track sustainability projects and ensure timely completion of action items
  • Identify opportunities to improve sustainability performance and promote new initiatives
  • Support sustainability communications and employee engagement efforts
  • Participate in industry association meetings and sustainability forums
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Environmental Management, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • Experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, ESG, energy management, manufacturing, EHS, or related disciplines
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and present technical and non‑technical data
  • Experience working within manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting, GHG accounting, ISO systems, ESG metrics, or environmental data management is a plus
