Senior Civil​/Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and cost proposals.
• Design basic municipal infrastructure projects such as site development plans, earthwork, and contouring; sanitary sewers; stormwater systems; drainage plans.
• Prepare permit applications.
• Prepare design packages and assist with preparing construction bid documents, reviewing submittals, and preparing cost estimates.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work in a team atmosphere and mentor junior staff.
• Provide QA/QC on project deliverables.

• Bachelor’s or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering (desired).
• Must hold current state license or be willing to obtain.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude.
• Attention to detail, time management, and organization.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• AutoCAD and/or Micro Station competency.
• Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting.
• HEC‑RAS, HydroCAD or other water resource‑related program experience.
• Fluent with Microsoft Word and Excel.
