Child and Adolescent School-based Clinician

Pipeline Counseling is seeking licensed Child and Adolescent Clinicians to join our school-based services program. We have competitive, well-paid positions available that offer scheduling flexibility and growth opportunities. As a Licensed Independent Contractor, you will earn 50 to 60 percent of each direct service hour you work. That is approximately $50-$60 per hour, based on your licensure and credentialing.

You must be willing to see clients primarily in the school, in the community as well as in the office settings. The telehealth platform is available. Some evening and occasional weekend hours will be required. Must be available to offer a minimum of 15 to 20 direct service hours per week.

Your main responsibilities and duties as a child and teen (adolescent) school-based therapist are to provide the care and support to help clients and their families manage the issues in their lives. Some key job duties include:

• Assessing client’s emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans
• Asking questions, counseling and helping clients explore their thoughts and feelings
• Provide intervention, prevention, treatment and referral services; and advising clients on issues of importance to them
• Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
• Maintaining detailed confidential records with timely submission
• Participate in some after-school programming activities

Pipeline implements evidenced based practice models and a variety of treatment interventions. We collaborate with hospitals, pediatricians, health advocates and the legal and educational systems, offering a continuity of care in the services we deliver.

Education and

Work Experience:

Master’s level degree in social work, counseling, or related field, LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT is
required. Must meet all the standards of your licensing board.

Two years’ direct experience in a mental health setting providing prevention services and /or mental health therapy to children and their families is preferred.
