City Care Counseling Center exists to provide professional mental health counseling services rooted in Christian values, serving individuals, couples, children, and families with excellence, compassion, integrity, and respect. We’re looking for a compassionate, self-driven clinician who thrives in a flexible environment and is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex challenges and create lasting change. Mixing exceptional clinical skills and faith, the Outpatient Mental Health Counselor works with clients to address anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and more.
- PT or FT positions available. Supervision available based on licensure or request.
- Minimum caseload of 15 clients per week.
- Pay is based on a split compensation structure, with a one-year progression:
- For LPC/LSW
:
Contractor shall receive 55% of collected clinical revenue. After twelve (12) consecutive months of service, Contractor may qualify for an increased compensation split of 60% of collected clinical revenue. - For LPCC/LISW
:
Contractor shall receive 65% of collected clinical revenue. After twelve (12) consecutive months of service, Contractor may qualify for an increased compensation split of 70% of collected clinical revenue. - Choose your own schedule and working hours
- Office space, phone, email, and electronic health records system provided.
- Billing, client scheduling, front office, and credentialing support provided to all clinical staff.

- All collaborative meetings scheduled are paid, including supervision meetings.
- Provide individual and/or family mental health counseling and appropriate, effective, evidence-based therapeutic interventions in accordance with the client's treatment plan.
- Complete diagnostic assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy and support using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and family systems therapy.
- Coordinate care with internal teams and external providers
- Advocate for clients and support access to needed services
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with agency standards
- Participate in team meetings to support a collaborative care approach.
- Master's level Social Worker (LSW) or Counselor (LPC) required. Independent licensure preferred (LISW or LPCC, respectively).
- Supervisory designation also welcomed.
- Experience working with adults, families, and/or groups with behavioral health needs.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation standards adhering to HIPAA and state regulations as well as agency standards.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) on file with Center.
- Maintain your own professional liability insurance and have on file with the Center.
- Compliance with Ohio licensing board requirements on file with Center.
- Strong commitment to client rights and ethical practice.
- Successful completion of a background check.
