Guided Search Partners (GSP)

Guided Search Partners is an Executive Search firm built on Trust, Transparency, Specialization, and Long‑term Relationships. We connect high‑performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with an established manufacturing organization operating a high‑activity production environment where consistency, safety, and execution matter every day. This site runs around the clock and plays an important role within a broader operational network.

This HR Manager role exists to strengthen on‑site partnership as the facility continues to focus on retention, leadership capability, and workforce stability. The position is consultative and hands‑on—supporting leaders through change, reinforcing policy consistency, and translating HR strategy into day‑to‑day action.

The opportunity is compelling for an HR professional who prefers to be close to the business. Someone who thrives here brings sound judgment, a steady presence, and the confidence to guide leaders through complex people decisions while maintaining fairness, compliance, and trust.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with site leaders to align HR programs with operational needs.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for hourly and salaried roles.
  • Handle employee relations: coaching, corrective action, investigations, and terminations as needed.
  • Coach leaders on performance management, accountability, and communication.
  • Ensure consistent policy application and compliance with HR regulations.
  • Track and act on workforce metrics (turnover, attendance, labor trends).
  • Support training plans, job descriptions, and performance/salary cycles.
  • Participate in site leadership meetings; support benefits administration and HR processes.
Who You Are

You’re a steady, solutions‑oriented HR leader who understands how people decisions impact operations. You bring confidence without ego, and you’re comfortable advising leaders through sensitive situations while maintaining trust on the floor.

You balance policy knowledge with practicality—knowing when to coach, when to challenge, and when to step in directly. Fast‑paced environments energize you, and you’re at your best when partnering closely with managers to improve performance, engagement, and accountability.

You’re the type who brings clarity to complexity—and helps teams move forward together.

Preferred Experience & Attributes
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HR‑related experience.
  • Prior HR leadership experience supporting manufacturing or operations environments, ideally within a facility running extended hours.
  • Proven experience partnering with leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR policies, compliance requirements, and investigation processes.
  • Experience with recruiting, training program development, and performance management cycles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and act on KPI data.
  • Clear communicator with strong organizational skills and professional judgment.
  • Comfortable administering benefits and ensuring consistent policy adherence across leadership teams.
Why This Role Matters

This HR Manager plays a direct role in shaping the employee experience and leadership effectiveness within a critical manufacturing operation. Your work influences retention, engagement, compliance, and the overall health of the organization.

You’ll partner closely with facility leadership, guiding decisions that impact a large employee population and ensuring HR practices support both people and production goals. This is a moment to step into a role where HR leadership is visible, valued, and tied to real outcomes.
