- Implement HR strategies aligned with business needs through influence and change management
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with client groups and serve on business unit leadership teams
- Promote inclusion and opportunity to support a high-performing culture
- Partner with client groups on interpretation and administration of HR policies and programs covering employment, compensation, benefits, and employee relations
- Guide employees and leaders on HR policies, procedures, practices, and programs
- Provide performance and leadership consulting, including training, needs assessments, organizational development, and meeting facilitation
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to develop strategies for changing needs
- Conduct investigations and prepare and present facts to resolve employee disputes
- Participate in employee-union negotiations and assist with labor contract interpretation and administration, including arbitration
- Develop, lead, or assist with special projects
- Analyze information and recommend company action based on findings and available funding
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Degree in Human Resources, Labor & Industrial Relations, or related field highly preferred
- Four (4) or more years of related HR experience required
- HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience highly preferred
- Prior experience in petroleum, utilities, manufacturing, or related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work with ambiguity and limited information
- Ability to manage multiple projects and organizational needs simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with internal clients and external partners
- Advanced relationship-management experience across all employee levels
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
- Ability to travel approximately 25% to 50%
Demonstrates expertise in HR strategy implementation, employee relations, and performance consulting while fostering strong business relationships and promoting a high-performing culture. Proficient in managing HR policies, conducting investigations, and leading special projects in a fast-paced environment.
