Technical Recruiter

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for identifying, recruiting, screening, and placing highly skilled IT professionals with clients across various industries. This role combines candidate sourcing and relationship management with a strong understanding of technology, allowing the recruiter to effectively match technical talent with client requirements. This role has the flexibility to allow the candidate to become a full-desk recruiter where the candidate could be running their own accounts, doing sales, and recruiting.

• Source and identify qualified IT professionals through Linked In, job boards, internal databases, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of technical candidates across areas such as Software Development, Cloud & Dev Ops, Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, QA, ERP/CRM, and Project Management.
• Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate technical qualifications, communication skills, career goals, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
• Partner with Account Managers and client stakeholders to understand open positions, technical requirements, team environments, and hiring priorities.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, manage candidate expectations, and facilitate the hiring process from initial contact through placement.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process to provide a positive candidate experience.
• Build long-term relationships with IT professionals to develop talent pipelines for current and future opportunities.
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends, compensation trends, and the local IT talent market to remain knowledgeable and provide informed recruiting guidance.
• Utilize ATS/CRM systems to maintain accurate candidate records, activity, submissions, interviews, and placement information.
• Negotiate compensation, contract terms, and other employment details while balancing candidate and client expectations.
• Collaborate with sales, recruiting, and delivery teams to meet client staffing needs and placement goals.

• 2+ years of experience in technical recruiting, IT staffing, or a related recruiting environment.
• Strong Boolean search and candidate research skills.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and distinguish between qualified and unqualified candidates.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and candidates simultaneously.
• Experience working within an ATS/CRM and recruiting tools such as Linked In Recruiter preferred.

• Experience managing and expanding client accounts within IT staffing or professional services environment.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with hiring managers and identify new business opportunities.
• Experience with client outreach, cold calling, Linked In prospecting, and generating new requisitions.
