We’re looking for a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead the people agenda and HR performance at EAST Trailers, a unionized manufacturing operation.
What you’ll do- Serve as a strategic HR partner to business leadership and connect people priorities with operational results
- Lead workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, retention, talent development, succession, and employee engagement
- Ensure an integrated approach across employee relations, labor relations, HR operations, talent, and organizational effectiveness
- Support effective CBA administration, union relations, grievances, investigations, discipline, and labor-management practices
- Ensure HR governance, policy consistency, legal compliance, benefits administration, and employee support
- Lead with data: workforce KPIs, organizational insights, risk identification, and action plans
- Partner in matrix alignment with business leadership and Fultra Corporate HR
- Proven ability to lead a broad site HR function and translate business priorities into people outcomes
- Strong experience in unionized manufacturing environments and collective bargaining
- Strategic perspective combined with a hands-on and visible presence in the operation
- Sound judgment when managing sensitive employee matters, organizational risk, and competing business priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing environments, including leadership of a broad site HR function
- Direct experience supporting union labor relations and collective bargaining
- Experience deploying corporate HR policies and programs within local operations
- Hands-on leadership with a strong operational presence
- Business partnership and strategic HR leadership
- Labor and employee relations expertise
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Clear communication and alignment with operational leaders
- Governance, compliance, and risk-management discipline
- Ability to operate effectively through ambiguity and complexity
- High ownership, sound judgment, and decision-making maturity
