Position: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Franklin or Madison County, Ohio

Interview Type: In-person interview; onsite after candidate screening.

Candidates will work onsite in Franklin or Madison County.

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect DRC data, systems, and networks.
• Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate the organization’s security needs and establish best practices and standards accordingly.
• Take appropriate security measures to ensure DRC’s infrastructure and existing data are kept safe.
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers, and endpoints.
• Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability.
• Partner with IT team and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes.
• Tune scans and reduce false positives to improve data accuracy.
• Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports.

• 10+ years experience with network security and threat detection (required).
• 10+ years experience with incident response and vulnerability management (required).
• 10+ years experience administering Qualys (required).
• 10+ years experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes (required).
• 4-year college degree (highly desired).
• CISP certification (highly desired).
