Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions
- Collaborate with analytics, product, architecture, governance, and business teams
- Conduct design and innovation of data extraction, ingestion and transformation processes
- Develop and design complex data architecture for high-volume data sets
- Advocate for and implement data security and privacy measures
- Solve complex problems and participate in strategic planning sessions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to establish and oversee data governance procedures
- Proficiency in integrating data from various sources using ETL processes
