Senior Bus Systems Analyst – Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.
• Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
• Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
• Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.
• Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group.

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience
• Working knowledge of Banking, Financial markets and products with ability to analyze Regulatory implications of on and off-balance sheet activities
• Working knowledge of any of the asset classes like Commercial/Retail loans/leases, Derivatives, Securitized Assets or Equity
• Understanding of General Ledger, Balance sheet and income statement
• Experience in FRY 9c, FRY 14M/Q, FR2590, Basel III and the corresponding regulatory submissions would be highly relevant.
• Relevant work experience in interpreting Fed instructions for specific regulatory reports and converting them to technical requirements for building the regulatory reports
• Intermediate to advanced level SQL skills for data analysis in Oracle and Teradata databases
• Proficiency in Excel, with exposure to BI tools such as Tableau / Microsoft Power BI / Oracle BI
• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Provides consulting services to internal business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve business results
• Experience in the area of analysis, definition and documentation of business and data requirements.
