Schedule: Full-time

• Manage, monitor, and optimize 24x7x365 batch processing across mainframe and distributed environments.
• Schedule and adjust jobs in Control-M/EM; respond to abends; coordinate fixes with development teams.
• Ensure production workloads meet established SLA expectations; analyze alerts and document issues in Service Now.
• Provide clear communication to technicians, contractors, and leadership as incidents develop.
• Lead operational standards, continual improvement initiatives, and forecast future batch processing needs.
• Mentor lower-level technicians; guide contractors; represent Operations Support in cross-team meetings.
• Serve as escalation point and provide guidance on batch-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-team partners to advance batch-related projects.

• Administer and maintain batch job streams in Control-M/EM for mainframe and distributed environments.
• Monitor workload performance, respond to abends, and coordinate issue resolution with development and support teams.
• Manage Control-M/EM components (job structures, groups, folders, applications, user configurations).
• Document incidents, problems, and tasks in Service Now; provide notifications when SLA risks or breaches occur.
• Use TSO/ISPF, JCL, and system monitors to troubleshoot batch processing issues.
• Maintain turnover dashboard and shift handoff information; produce internal/external Operations Support reports.

• Location: Ohio-based, with headquarters in an ODJFS facility (Columbus, Akron, or Dayton). Address details provided as needed.
• Travel: Occasional travel within Ohio.
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; standard workdays Sunday–Saturday with rotating weekend coverage; holidays rotated among the team.

The ideal candidate must meet minimum qualifications as described in the options below. Each option requires 12 months of experience in the primary technology (Cloud Services Administration) in addition to other criteria.

• OPTION 1
  • 60 months combined experience evaluating IT processes, recommending changes, and researching hardware/software solutions; and
  • 12 months in Cloud Services Administration.

• OPTION 2
  • Associate core program in computer science or information systems;
  • 42 months combined IT process evaluation/research experience; and
  • 12 months in Cloud Services Administration.

• OPTION 3
  • Undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems;
  • 36 months combined IT experience; and
  • 12 months in Cloud Services Administration.

• OPTION 4 Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment.
