Responsibilities
- Acquire, integrate, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools.
- Create reporting packages and provide ongoing performance reporting to leadership.
- Automate data collection, reporting, and analytic processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Produce ad hoc analyses and reports supporting operational and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate and improve data storage, extraction, and processing methodologies.
- Support analytics related to scheduling, registration, productivity, provider performance, and other healthcare operational metrics.
- Collaborate with leaders to establish, monitor, and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Connect operational metrics to financial and organizational performance outcomes.
- Identify new opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics and tracking tools.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders to improve data accessibility and utilization.
- Participate in strategic and operational projects requiring analytical expertise.
- Serve as a key analytics resource for performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
- Provide analytical support for business development and special projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of job-related analytical experience.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and data visualization methodologies.
- Experience working with data models, data mining, and data collection systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience with SQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with statistical and analytics tools such as Minitab, SAS, SPSS, or Qlik View is preferred.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
- Experience working with healthcare‑related datasets, including EPIC data, Press Ganey data, or Premier databases is preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen is preferred.
- Experience presenting data insights to executive and physician leadership audiences is preferred.
Demonstrates expertise in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, with a strong focus on healthcare operational metrics and performance improvement. Proficient in managing multiple projects while delivering actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
