We are looking for a talented School to Work - Product Management to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Cummins Inc. facility in Florence, KY
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Build and maintain a global supply chain database using Microsoft Access and Excel, improving data accuracy, accessibility, and decision‑making across regions.
Design and execute data queries to extract actionable insights that support planners and analysts in optimizing material flow and inventory strategies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across global sites (Americas, Europe, Asia–Pacific) to gather, validate, and standardize supply chain data.
Analyze safety stock levels, economic order quantities, and forecasting accuracy to drive efficiency, reduce excess inventory, and mitigate supply risks.
Develop and enhance dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear visibility into key supply chain performance metrics.
Conduct audits of master data and processes to identify gaps, improve data integrity, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Create training documentation and resources to enable consistent use of supply chain systems and processes across the organization.
Balance independent analytical work with team collaboration in a dynamic environment, delivering timely insights while managing multiple priorities.
Leverage advanced data and technical skills by building and managing supply chain databases in Microsoft Access/Excel, designing queries, and supporting analytics such as forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.
Demonstrate strong analytical thinking by contributing to projects like economic order quantity calculations, safety stock analysis, and data audits to improve supply chain performance.
Communicate and collaborate effectively across global teams by gathering data from international sites and translating insights into clear reports, dashboards, and training documentation.
Adapt quickly and manage priorities in a dynamic environment by balancing multiple tasks, learning on the job, and maintaining accuracy in a fast‑paced, data‑driven setting.
Exhibit independence and teamwork by taking initiative on assignments while also contributing to group objectives within a global supply chain and analytics team.
The primary role of the Supply Chain Co‑op is to provide support to the global supply chain team, which consists of both planners and analysts. The co‑op will, at the same time, gain real world experience and education in the field of material management and data analytics in a business‑to‑business environment.

Data gathering with sites in USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Australia, India and China
Develop training documentation
Must be a full‑time college student
Ideal candidate working toward an undergraduate degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Operations Management or Business Administration
Co‑op experience must be part of the student curriculum
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools preferred
Ability to learn on the job in a dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and within teams as needed
Preferred completion of Intro to Information Systems or equivalent class (e.g. IS2080)
Available Monday‑Friday from 8:00‑4:30
Ability to be on‑site. This is not a hybrid role.
Transportation available to and from the office
