OverviewAWS Infrastructure Services designs, plans, delivers, and operates all AWS global infrastructure. We support every AWS data center and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that give our customers continuous access to the innovation they depend on. The AWS Cloud Logistics team seeks a results‑oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead warehouse and transportation operations at our Florence, KY hub, owning the end‑to‑end flow of materials in and out of the facility to support manufacturing builds and data center deployments.
Responsibilities- Own warehouse and transportation operations, ensuring on‑time material flow to manufacturing and data center sites.
- Manage and hold accountable our 3PL vendor partner—driving KPI adherence, SLA performance, and operational excellence.
- Identify and eliminate root causes of operational defects through data‑driven problem solving.
- Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives from concept through sustainable implementation.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with and influence cross‑functional teams and external partners to drive alignment and results.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce cost, and increase throughput.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipment scheduling to meet dynamic manufacturing and data center demand signals.
- Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms and dashboards to provide visibility into operational health.
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively to prevent disruptions to material flow.
- Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- 2+ years of program, project, or product management experience, or leading product implementation.
- 6+ years of related industry experience.
- 8+ years of data analysis using Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of high‑volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience in global supply chain management and leading cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced consumer electronics product environment.
- Experience managing 3PL vendors, including performance management, contract governance, and partnership building.
- Data‑driven operator capable of turning complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations and building advanced Excel models and visualizations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
- Self‑starter who takes ownership, makes independent decisions, and drives initiatives to completion.
- Track record of leading continuous improvement projects delivering measurable, sustainable results.
- Experienced with prioritizing multiple priorities in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
- Experience negotiating with global suppliers and reducing costs.
- Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain, and Tier 1 OEM partners.
- Experience practicing best‑in‑class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should‑cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent).
USA, KY, Florence – – USD annually. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
