Supply Chain Services Site Coordinator

This role supports supply chain services, vending, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) operations on site at a customer location, reporting to the Supply Chain Services Sr Manager. The role collaborates with the inside sales and account management teams to strengthen customer relationships and deliver Vallen’s value proposition.

Vallen's Supply Chain Services Site Coordinator plays a central role in coordinating and refining supply chain, vending, and/or VMI operations at a customer site. This position ensures streamlined operations, customer satisfaction, and alignment with Vallen's core business goals. The manager collaborates with the inside sales and account management teams to deepen customer relationships and reinforce Vallen's value proposition.

• Operational Management:
  Oversee the Supply Chain Solutions’ daily functions, ensuring compliance with service standards, agreements, and cost optimization.
• Team Leadership:
  Guide and support onsite Supply Chain Solutions associates, focusing on performance evaluation, training, and fostering team collaboration.

  Align team activities with organizational goals in partnership with the Supply Chain Services Sr Manager.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and identifying collaborative opportunities.
• Asset & Inventory Management:
  Oversee onsite inventory and assets, ensuring accurate tracking, optimal utilization, and minimized wastage.
• KPI Monitoring:
  Assess and report on key performance indicators (service level, fill rate, machine downtime, etc.). Develop strategies to enhance service delivery based on KPIs.
• Order Control Optimization:
  Work with customers and Account Representatives/Managers to refine inventory order controls and minimize stock-outs.
• Compliance & Process Refinement:
  Ensure site adherence to inventory protocols, cycle counts, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Conduct regular reviews to refine processes and drive operational efficiencies.

• Education & Experience:
  
  A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Finance) or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years in supply chain management, distribution, or a related industry. Experience with indirect materials is advantageous.
• Leadership:
  At least 2 years in a supervisory role, emphasizing team development and cohesion.

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
