Position Information Classification Title Golf Operations Director FLSA Exempt FTE 1.00 Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent plus 12 years of professional experience to include 5 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications This position is responsible for the overall management and administration of the University Golf Course. The primary focus of the position is to continuously provide a superior golf product and service and develop the University of Georgia Golf Course brand utilizing marketing and internal resources. Responsibilities involve a variety of duties to manage and maintain the golf course. The work involves collaboration with internal and external entities to promote and provide quality service at the UGA Golf Course.

External entities may include community members, dignitaries, major donors, and UGAA or other universities athletic association personnel. This position is responsible for the overall perception of the UGA Golf Course by establishing and promoting a standard for providing exceptional products and services, whether on the course, at the driving range, or in the Pro Shop.
